well, not exactly but oh boy this will be a fun one to watch!
Well regardless if this pans out or not...this is going to be interesting. Oh god I'd love to run against that wacky Huckabee! "hey guys, lets change the constitution into the bible...duh duh duh"
Anyways, you won't need to 'keep your eye on the story' because they quite literally stopped both Hardball and Lou Dobbs (worthless) to break the story. Fox News, at least as I last checked, was continuing their crapfest
Check out the article. I'm a 23 year old male so I don't really care but all those conservative Christians are gonna be waggin their fingers.
My thought, if this actually has the teeth to bring down McCain (which isn't exactly likely), we'll see Romney pop right back up. He still holds the majority of delegates over Huckabee and though he endorsed McCain...those delegates can still vote how ever they want. Obviously they'd return to their original caster along with McCains.

Well some thoughts as night one of...whatever the media will call this...has ended. MSNBC had constant coverage but I lend this to NOT some apparition liberal-bias but rather their programing lent itself to cover live-to-tape programming. CNN had a Ballot Bowl (or some other annoying crap that often bumps the 12noon international addition) which is a program that plays long-format candidate coverage. Not a single notice of about the McCain situation. Interesting considering the 'Live' cg on the screen.
Fox did cover it but their choices of pundits was telling. Their first was Bob Bennant (wiki him, worthless) a republican lawyer with insider ties. His claim thus far was, of course, labeling the NYT a tabloid journal and having inside knowledge as a liaison between the RNC and the newspaper's editorial board. As you can assume...deny, deny, deny - with the McCain camp in tow. During O'Really no mention of the news break had occurred (nearly 45 awkward minutes; you know those IFBs were chirping with updates). At the start of Hannibal and Rat, we hear 'hit and run / smear campaign'. Go ahead Roger Allies...send out your talking points and we'll see how it all turns out. Punk, lets fight.
Unless this thing gets in our faces for the next week (which I still feel it won't), keep an eye and watch how McCain's camp handles it. The Washington Post reports that surrogates from the McCain camp have 'declared war on the NYtimes' so the Rove-esqu GOP continues. I wonder how often he'll be on Fox News this week.
Separate note: Tim, I'll pay you to never have to see him (rove) in class again. The man makes me want to jump off a bridge in name of the 3967 soldiers who've died 'defending our freedom'. At very least take note of the flesh color changes that take place on my cheeks each time I see him.
MSNBC = 2 live programs 8p - 10p as the story broke.
I put that badly and don't want a second edit.
CNN had 'ballot bowl' and 'larry king' (with a timid John Stuart on the subject of his bff McCain).
Fox talked up the story but on the 'timing' part of the story versus the issues at hand.
I do note, the article is weak as of right now and as every pundit has declared tonight that, they aren't saying everything and in days ahead we'll learn a lot more.
What a neat election to watch. I'm glad I get to be a part of it.
Oh, man, please don't say "old and busted" or "new hotness."
